DXM is an agressive Hardcore/Death-Metal band from Allentown PA. DXM Was formed in late 2002 when Former band-Mates Aaron Marks, and Jules Robbins got together with a friend Earl J. Ostrander to start writing some music for a band. After a few months they had a handful of songs which ranged from sounds of Metal, to Grunge, with some Emo. The lyrics were mostly anti-organized religion.
After about 5 Months, DXM headed to Signal Sound Studios in Quakertown PA to record their first EP/Demo. The Tracks included were Tears, Crutch, and The Falling(of a Mastermind). Shortly after recording the disk they Played their first show in Allentown PA with the Regional act, MyDownfall(lifer) and Echo7. DXM Continued playing shows all over the Eastern PA area and started building a large fan base. After that summer they started playing shows with National bands like Mushroomhead, Slaves on Dope, 40 Below Summer, Coretez, Biohazard, Bile, and Six Feet Under.
In feb 2004 Earl Ostrander left the band due to personal reasons. In March 2004 DXM Aquired bassist Aaron Oxenford and is now Playing shows again in the PA area. DXM Plans on releasing a NEW EP with 5 Studio Tracks, and 2 live tracks in early summer 2004.
